Welcome to my blog / portfolio site and thanks for stopping in. I’ve set up on this corner of the web, because I really believe that it’s important for people to share knowledge, skills, and creativity freely. I personally enjoy the process of learning, exploring, and doing all things creative and cutting edge as well as sharing those experiences with others. I have a passion for meeting new trends and developing highly functional yet uniquely creative, websites and applications.

I am the co-owner of Chosen and Young Go Getter building businesses both online and off. My businesses use the talents of many different individuals creating a unique and powerful force when put together on a project. However, my individual strengths are in corporate identity, graphic design, front-end web development, and CMS integration with Content Management Systems such as Modx, Magento, Wordpress, and ExpressionEngine.

The Bio

I am a very strong Christian, and my faith is what has made me successful and helped me to gain favor from those who have blessed me over the years. I have achievements, successes and leadership abilities that derive from self-confidence (not to be confused with arrogance) in my abilities as a leader, a husband, and a humble servant of God. I also have a very quirky and jolly nature and I don’t let impressions or embarrassment hold me back from being myself, telling dumb jokes, or being a little off center.

If I described myself in one word it would be technology. Like technology I can be very smart, useful, and hard working. But on the other hand I can also be very quirky, buggy, and frustrating if you don’t understand me.

As far as interests go, I love technology. I tinker with just about everything from software development to hardware modding. I have a natural desire and talent in all things web and computer related. To stay fit and healthy I cook some awesome shish tawook and skateboard, snowboard, climb, and swim, whenever I can.

Where I Work

As mentioned before, I also operate two businesses full time, and within those the overall focus is marketing and business development to help our clients grow their brand online. In all of these positions we are well versed in internet technologies such as web design, web development, internet marketing, and search engine optimization as a base as well as offline advertising and real world business strategy.

My Experience

I have over 6 years experience in web design and development: 4 years formal education, 2 years freelancing, and 2 years corporate & small business, working with with both open source solutions and custom created Content Management Systems.
